YOUNG Reflections is celebrating its 25th birthday.

From small beginnings in 1992 in the 55 Arcade to its present site at 13 Tay St (opposite Hannah’s shoe shop), Young Reflections has grown to provide a good range of books, puzzles, toys and games for its core market – from babies to teenagers.

Gift fairs in Auckland and Christchurch provide great opportunities to find new products for the southern market. Products are also sourced from the Melbourne toy and gift fairs.

Hama beads – as used at the Kidzone Festival – and maths resources are imported from Australia, and staff are currently looking at other products overseas.

Online shopping is declining in the United States and shopping malls are emptying out, hence we are seeing a rise in more independent stores.

Young Reflections staff are great at giving ideas and help with suggestions for the perfect gift.

The shop was originally established to provide Southlanders with a range of quality products not found in Invercargill.

Twenty-five years later, customers are coming back with their grandchildren.

As part of Young Reflections’ celebrations, customers will go in the draw for gift baskets and prizes by spending $20 or more until August 19.

Plus there is 20% off most items in stock.
