ON Track Learning in Invercargill has a new owner.
Secondary school teacher Patria Kerr bought the tutoring service from Clayton Riley.
“I worked for Clayton and Barbara 25 years ago so I knew the business and I was comfortable buying it from them,” Mrs Kerr said.
“The business is in a field of education which I know. It is well established and has great staff. It ticked a lot of boxes,” she said.
The centre employs nine trained teachers and offers 80-minute lessons in mathematics, English and senior science including physics and biology to students from preschool to year 13 and adult students.
“The services are available to students who need to catch up through to students who want extension. We want to get students back on track and then further up the track. I like to see the students advance in their understanding, with their confidence growing at the same time,” she said.
