The AM Show television presenters Aziz Al-Sa’afin, Duncan Garner and Mark Richardson made their own personal chocolates at The Seriously Good Chocolate Company on Spey St, Invercargill, last Sunday.
The Seriously Good Chocolate Company owner Jane Stanton said the presenters made the chocolates to give away on their show.
“They made Bluff oyster chocolates, pinot noir gel chocolates and toffee crunch chocolates, because Mark liked toffee.”
By the time the chocolates were made, personalised packaging with a photo of the trio on the side of the box was also ready for them, Ms Stanton said.
“We’ve only done that for Prince Harry, when he visited Stewart Island, and Joseph Parker before,” she said.
The presenters also made traditional Southland cheese rolls and chocolate cheese rolls, she said.
“They thought that was exciting. It was great promotion for what goes on down in Southland.”
The AM Show presenters attended Dig This Invercargill and had a go at driving some diggers there before visiting The Seriously Good Chocolate Company.
