(Back, from left) Helen Newcombe, Sarah McLeod-Young, (front) Kathy Singleton and Gina Brown prepare for Fiordland Players’ performance of Cheshire Cats by Gail Young.
Presented by arrangement with NZ Play Bureau Ltd, the play is about a group of women who are doing a fundraising walk for breast cancer.
Fiordland Players member Pauline Nicholson said the group was hoping to raise awareness, with 10% of all ticket sales to be donated to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
The play will be performed at the Fiordland Community Events Centre, Te Anau, July 6-8, at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the Thursday show are $25 for adults, $15 concessions. Friday and Saturday’s shows are $40 per person, including suppers. Pre-booking for Friday and Saturday’s shows is essential.
Tickets are available from Clementine’s 25 Town Centre, Te Anau. Cash or cheques only.
