FIGHTERS, coaches and Koru Care supporters attended a function on Tuesday to hear the news Fight for Kidz 2019 raised $129,085 for Koru Care Southland last month.
The charity would use the funds to take Southland children with terminal illness or permanent disabilities on trips to the Gold Coast, Australia, and Disneyland in Los Angeles, United States of America.
Since Koru Care Southland was established in 1993, the group had treated more than 700 children to holidays of a lifetime.
“Thanks to everyone for their big effort this year,” Mr Boutcher said at the function.
“We are pretty sure it is a record [for Fight for Kidz].”
Mr Reynolds said the amount raised was “mind blowing”.
“On behalf of the trust, a mammoth thanks to Steve and Dave,” he said.
