THE Southland Brick Show will be held this weekend.

After the success of last year’s event, members of LUG (Lego Users Group) South have organised a second family friendly show in Invercargill.

There will be at least 24 exhibitors and Lego enthusiasts of all ages from throughout the South Island showcasing their designs and collections at the show.

“This will be a fun event for everyone to enjoy,” LUG South chairman Chris Dawson said.

“Competitions, a large play area for the kids with a huge pile of Lego, interactive Minecraft area and Toyworld stand are just some of the exciting parts of the show.”

The LUG South Charitable Trust is dedicated to helping disabled and disadvantaged children in the southern region.

Mr Dawson said LUG South had so far donated $20,000 to Southland children’s charities and proceeds from this event would also be donated.
