The Wedding Expo of Dresses Through the Ages was held at the Vickery Court Home and Hospital recently.

The expo, organised by Vickery Court activities co-ordinators Kelly Roughan and Donna Cullen, featured 21 dresses from the past and present brought by residents and their families for the event.

Ms Roughan said one of the dresses was more than 100 years old.

“Residents and staff put a lot of work into this expo. They made flower decorations and decorated a wedding cake. Residents and their families enjoyed the event and some of them travelled from as far away as Christchurch to be there on the day,” she said.
