When and why did you acquire it? Brought it in Kaiapoi two and a-half years ago as I wanted to make a MadMax replica
What is the vehicle’s history? It originally came from Australia as a standard XB family car
Have you altered it in any way? It has been converted into a MadMax replica
What’s it like to drive? Beautiful, very quick and purrs like a lion
What’s it worth? Priceless, as it is custom-made and the hours of work I put into it cannot be counted with money
Where’s your favourite stretch of road (or road trip)? Any road without a bend in this car
Top speed? Clock won’t go high enough
Best driving experience? BeachHop 2017
Worst driving experience? I don’t have those, luckily
What other vehicles of note have you owned? I have a couple of old Falcons lying around
Best music to drive to? None, I like to listen to the sound of the V8 engine
