ROUND 4 of the Evolution Motorsport ClubSport Championship takes place at Teretonga Park on Saturday, November 20.
The day will feature a motorkhana with both sealed and grass courses around cones in the morning with a higher speed autocross in the afternoon.
The Southland Sports Car Club invited anyone who would like to have a go at entry level motorsport to come to the event, where anyone 12 years of age and over could take part. The entry fee is $30 for motorkhana and $45 for autocross while, if people wanted to use the Evolution Motorsport Nissan Sentra to contest the events, they could pay an extra $20. The consent of a parent or guardian was required for younger drivers.
Anyone interested in what ClubSport was about was welcome to watch any of the events during the season, with spectator admission free.
Many families and workplaces got involved having their own internal competitions at events while ClubSport was great for enhancing driving skills.
Liam MacDonald, of Invercargill, leads both the motorkhana and autocross points having won two of the three motorkhana rounds, with Jeremy Lennon winning the other, while MacDonald has won all three autocross rounds.
