Supercars rev into the south

NZ Super Car Club member Neil Inns with some of the nearly 20 supercars on a tour from Northland to Bluff and back again.

A FLEET of supercars descended on Southland on Monday, as a North Island-based Supercar Club reached the halfway point of its nationwide tour.

Club chairman Neill Inns said the tour had been in the works for a few months, and tour-goers had to present a negative Rapid Antigen Test and abide by Covid precautionary measures while travelling.

He said about 20 cars were on the tour, and their owners were mostly from various areas in the North Island.

Parked outside the Quest hotel this week, the cars proved to be a popular display for locals as many stopped to take photos and selfies with the cars throughout the afternoon.
