What is the vehicle’s history? Lived all its life in Timaru as a road car. Has had only four owners

Have you altered it in any way? Way too much to list. Rebuilt as a replica classic works rally car

What’s it like to drive? Awesome, fast and fun

What’s it worth? Ask my accountant… the one I sleep with. About $6500

Where’s your favourite stretch of road? Any gravel road

Top speed? 120mph (200kmh). My co-driver is on nerve pills

Best driving experience? In my BMW M3 between Taupo and Turangi in the North Island… doing a wee bit over the speed limit

Worst driving experience? Rolling a rally car end-for-end over a large bank
