Southland’s Borland Lodge has had $42,000 of the $55,000 goal raised by the community to save the site following the financial loss of Covid-19.
Borland Lodge Trust chairman Grant Hubber said Southland organisations, schools, groups, families and individuals had been doing everything they could to help keep the lodge running.
“It’s been truly amazing to see the donations and offers of help that have come in. Everybody is so passionate about saving the lodge and we couldn’t be in our current position without this support.”
He said the Trust was “blown away” by the level of generosity, which would ensure the lodge could continue to provide “quality experiences” for those wanting to explore their own backyard.latest RunningGOLF NIKE SHOES
