BLUFF Promotions are calling for floats, community groups, stilt walkers, performers, and others who can lend colour and activity to the annual Christmas Parade in Bluff on Sunday, December 6.

Several groups have committed to the parade including Bluff Coast Guard, Bluff School, Foveaux Pearls Leisure Marchers and Southern Society of SteamPunk Steamologists to provide a colourful spectacle to get Bluff’s celebration of Christmas under way.

Santa Claus would also make an appearance to meet and greet the children.

The parade would start on Gore St at 1pm, making its way to the Bluff Oyster & Food Festival site where the Christmas In The Bluff Gala Day, organised by the Christmas In The Bluff Committee, would feature plenty of entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Anyone wishing to be a part of the parade could contact co-ordinator Alison Patrick on (03) 212 7496 or at

Inquiries regarding the Gala Day or anyone who would like to be a part of the Gala Day could contact Debbie Fife on 3 212 6800 or
