THE Extravaganza Fair is coming to Invercargill this weekend.
Event manager Mels Berg said it was a bright new fair with loads of energy and fun.
“We provide a fun, free day out for people of all ages. We have a stage with music playing all day, a family circus show, a magic show, and a lot of activities for the kids with prizes to win,” she said.
This year’s fair and market will be held for the first time at Surrey Park.
“There will be fabulous shopping, clothing, jewellery, handcrafts, beauty products, as well as great food available.”
The organisers aimed to be a sustainable event and to create environmental awareness, she said.
“We banned one-use water bottles and plastic packaging so our vendors use sustainable and compostable packaging. There will be a station where people can fill up their water bottles or have a drink.” The Extravaganza Fair, Surrey Park, Saturday and Sunday, 9am-5pm. Entry free.
