THE Rotary Club of Aparima will be holding its annual Labour Weekend Garage Sale fundraiser on Sunday, October 22, when many in the seaside town will open their garages to sell preloved treasures and wares.

Aparima Riverton Rotary Club publicity officer Cathi Knowles said the popular Riverton-wide event was eagerly anticipated each year.

Donated items for the club’s own garage sale, which would be held at Trotter House garage, were also welcomed and could be collected, she said.

don’t want to have their own garage sale, they can donate any surplus items and Aparima Rotarians will gratefully collect the goods, whether it be a small number to a house lot, to sell at our own garage sale at Trotter House on the day.”

To register a garage sale ($20) or for goods to be collected, phone Prue Stratford on 03 234 990.

Maps will be available for $5 at the Riverton Primary School hall on Princes St from 8am on the day to direct people to the various sales.affiliate link traceNike
