INVERCARGILL was filled with spookiness last weekend with Halloween events in the city.

On Saturday, Invercargill City Council promoted its Spooky Saturday and encouraged Southland families to dress up in Halloween theme, and trick or treat around the city centre.

City centre co-ordinator Shru Shrivastava said people were given a spooky map to direct the trick or treaters to collect treats from participating businesses.

There was also a halloween party held at Splash Palace.

While in the evening, the Southland Multicultural Council celebrated Halloween with the international community.latest Nike SneakersTHE SNEAKER BULLETIN
