ILT Kidzone has kicked off for another year with hundreds of children and their caregivers flocking to James Hargest College senior campus in Layard St.

With more than 150 attractions and running over six days, the event is one of the largest in Southland.

Kidzone event director Karen Witham said she was emotional having finally delivered the festival.

“We have been planing every detail since March.

“We always like to make some things slightly different to keep it fresh. It is an event for everyone to have fun.”
