Drummond Rugby Club member junior Hugo O’Meara and the club’s oldest member Tom Johnstone (103) cut the centennial cake at club’s centenary celebrations last weekend.

Drummond was one of the founding clubs of the Central Sub-Union in 1921, which also included Calcium (Isla Bank), Waianawa (Wrights Bush) and Heddon Bush.

The weekend’s celebrations included photos through the years, rugby matches, a centennial dinner with guest speaker, former All Black Josh Kronfeld, and an Anzac Day Service.
