Spring is in the air at Queens Park

THE beginning of Spring in Invercargill has brought with it the first of Queens Park’s ducklings.

Birds and their nests can be seen in many of the still leaf-bare trees, with one duck being extra bold with the placement of her nest.

Close to Kelvin St, she could be seen nestled between a plant and tree trunk, only a few metres from the path.

None of the eggs had hatched as of Monday afternoon.
