The Queens Park Stumpery Halloween Fun was held on Tuesday.

Hosted by the Invercargill City Council parks division and the Rotary Club of Invercargill North, the second annual Halloween fun evening attracted about 1000 ghosts, ghouls, vampires, and various other spooky characters.

Parks division manager and Rotarian Robin Pagan said he was pleased with the turnout which he estimated at more than the thousand which took part last year.

As well as prizes for best costumes, children and adults took part in the various games including ghost skittles, skull rolling, and a treasure hunt.
