Mid-Winter Swim fundraiser

About 70 people attended the MoreFM Southland Mid-Winter Swim held at Oreti Beach on Sunday, July 16.

Businesses, schools, community groups, friends and families dressed in crazy costumes took a dip in the sea.

More than $2000 of prizes were being offered, including Tool Shed heated jackets, Hunting and Fishing clothing, Southland Honda merchandise, E Hayes & Sons vouchers and grand prizes.

Prize for the best dressed work group went to workers from Trents Wholesale Ruth Rima, Regan Prattley, Huikun Quan and Sharon Eade, all of Invercargill

Proceeds collected on the day went to the Oreti Surf Life Saving Club.
