PRIDE Property Management was named 2017 Southland Property Management Company of the Year for the second consecutive year at a function held at PowerNet last week.

Southland Warm Homes Trust (SWHT) chairman Jim Hargest said the award recognised property managers who were actively improving the living conditions of tenants and supporting the vision of the SWHT.

“Pride Property Management has continued to be proactive in helping make healthier living environments for tenants. They have been engaging with landlords and promoting energy-saving ideas with tenants. They have also been actively insulating many of the properties under their management,” he said.

Pride Property Management property manager Shirley Letta said so far about 70% of their properties were insulated.

“We like to look after our tenants and make sure they are living in cleaner and healthier homes,” she said.
