Logan Harvey (Edendale) completes an underhand chop at the Waiau Town & Country Club chop at Tuatapere last Saturday. Harvey’s last chop was about 40 years ago — he was chopping in honour of his late father Geoff, who was a former active competitor in woodsports.

Jack Richards (Otautau) and John Broughton (Mossburn) assisted by Karen Richards (Otautau) compete in a double sawing competition. They won the event and also the Geoff Harvey memorial trophy.
