THE first Hjs Outdoor Clip ‘n’ Climb Festival will kick off at ILT Stadium Southland next week.
The Clip ‘n’ Climb walls have been a much-loved feature at the stadium since it reopened in 2014, with thousands of families giving them a go.
The Clip ‘n’ Climb Festival was a way of adding another element to the Clip ‘n’ Climb and a chance for Southland primary school children to challenge themselves against others in their age group, stadium business development manager Laura Morrison said.
“We are so excited to hold this competition for the first time and it is a great way to wrap up a successful year of Clip ‘n’ Climb after-school programmes. We have had lots of children go through our Level 1 and 2 classes and now they could come in and test out their skills,” Mrs Morrison said.
There will be loads of prizes up for grabs during the week and all those who enter will go in the draw to win a portable basketball hoop donated from Hjs Outdoor.
The festival will run from Monday forms are available from stadium reception or their website http://www.stadiumsouth.co.nz/.
