SOUTHLAND triathletes were in full force competing in the Coast to Coast last weekend.
Te Anau’s Claire Bell (right) finished fifth in the Longest Day women’s elite in 13 hours 22 minutes 46 seconds. She is pictured running over Goat Pass.
Invercargill’s Hoani McNeill (above), finished 244th, in 19.27:49 in the two-day individual category.
It was Wanaka’s Dougal Allan who won his second Longest Day title at the event, which started on the West Coast and finished in Christchurch on Saturday.
Fellow Wanaka resident Simone Maier also added her name a second time to the women’s trophy.
