Fight for Kidz 2018 will be held at the ILT Stadium Southland on April 28.

Fight for Kidz co-organiser Steve Boutcher said Star Rugby Club player Alesana Muliaina had stepped up to fight in the charity boxing tournament for a second year, and the call was now going out for a Marist player to take him on for the Star versus Marist bout.

Twenty-four fighters were needed for the 12-bout event, open to male and female competitors.

Fight for Kidz co-organiser Dave Bartley said they were pleased with the number of entries received so far, but there was still time for others to register.

The organisers are also seeking a Southland children’s charity to be the recipient of next year’s event, and sponsors to support the event.

Entries for fighters and expressions of interest from charities close on December 1.

Selected fighters will be announced on December 5.Authentic SneakersNike Release Dates
