ROUND two of the H & J Outdoor Winter series June 2019 was held on Sunday, and while it was sunnier than the last race in the series, there was plenty of mud under foot and bike.
The second of six races held by the Southland Mountainbike Club was held at the Sandy Point Mountain Bike Track
As part of the series point system, competitors need to finish at least three races to be eligible and the five best race results of each individual determine where they place.
The overall winner in the expert category of the event was Josh Burnett, who completed three laps in a time of one hour, three minutes and 20 seconds.
In the recreational category, the overall winner was Cain Wilson who finished in 35min.
Marshall Erwood was the overall winner of the sports category in 49min 6sec. The next race is set for July 7.
