THE third annual Te Anau Enduro was held last weekend with 125 competitors taking part and a total prize pool of more than $6000.
The Enduro is a fun, friendly event for competitive and recreational people.
Participants can compete in a team or as an individual and do as many laps as possible in either a 10km mountain biking section, 4km kayak course or 5km run in a set timeframe. Competitors can complete laps of any course they choose, in whatever order they choose, and score a point for every completed lap.
The multisport event was based at Lake Te Anau with a transition area at the Marakura Yacht Club.

Female solo open: Shannon Edgar (Otago) 17 completed laps in a time of 7:46.45.
Male solo veteran: Kevin Edgar (Otago) 15 laps, 7:34.21.
Teams open: Go Orange (Adam Wilson, Paul Preston, Michelle Stark) 21 laps, 7:55.51.
