PUPILS from Southland Girls’ High School and Southland Boys’ High School are getting ready for this year’s combined annual senior production of the emotional stage show Blood Brothers.
Written and arranged by Willy Russell, it tells the story of twin boys separated at birth who meet again as young men.
Musical director Sarah Rae said about 45 pupils from Year 11 to Year 13 are involved in the production. “This musical will allow the audience to forget about their life for two hours and to immerse in someone else’s.”
