TE ANAU is turning pink.

Some businesses in the town, including tour operators and restaurants, were supporting the Te Anau Turning Pink campaign to be held on Saturday, August 1.

The annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast would be held the following day at the Te Anau Club from 10.30am.

Organiser Leona McCracken said some local tour operators were donating a percentage of their takings towards Pink Ribbon.

“This includes some of our restaurants that are doing special pink ribbon dishes.”

Cruise Milford would decorate its boat in the hue with the crew also dressed in pink with $20 from every adult ticket sold given to Pink Ribbon.

Fiordland Tours was also donating $20 from every adult tour price to the campaign.

Fiordland Outdoors Co was having a Pink Day Out on the Saturday, hosting a day hike on the Milford Track and lunch at Clinton Hut.

The Fiordland Massage Clinic would also donate $20 from each massage in the
week leading up to the Pink Ribbon breakfast.

During the week before the events, there would be an auction on Facebook to win a Te Anau package.
