THE Riverton Racing Club is expecting a big crowd for its race meets on Easter Saturday and Monday with the long range weather forecast looking promising.
Club president Mike McCurdy said there would be a good number of horses coming from further north and the track was in prime condition.
There are nine races on the card each day with Saturday’s main race, the Carriers Arms Hotel, worth $60,000. The first race will start at 12.25pm.
The day will also feature entertainment and activities for young and old with mini rides, fashion in the field, music and plenty of food options.
It would be $10 entry fee with under-18s free.
